Requisition Meeting

Requisition meetings are typically scheduled monthly at the project site, and should be attended by the general contractor, the project architect and representatives of the sponsor/owner.

At a scheduled meeting to review the progress of construction work completed, the general contractor submits the Contractor's Requisition, Project Mortgages, Form HUD-92448 (often referred to as the 2448), to the project architect, the HUD inspector, and owner/sponsor and their representatives for review. Typically, the meeting includes a walk-through of the construction site. The project architect and HUD inspector will evaluate the completed work to verify the contractor's requisition. The meeting also provides an opportunity for the general contractor to receive comments or corrections. There may be other inspections that are scheduled but do not include the submission and review of the general contractor's requisition for a progress payment.
