Submitting the Package of Legal Closing Documents to HUD

The project attorney should assemble all the required legal documents for the closing and prepare a cover letter to the HUD closing attorney listing the documents on the HUD Legal Requirements for Closing list and using the same numbering that appears on the HUD list. If a document is missing, then the cover letter should indicate the status of the missing document and when it is expected to the submitted.
